Pursuant to the state open records law, Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. Secs. 39-121 to 39-122 and 39-128, I hereby request the following records:
All contracts, memorandums of understanding, and other agreements entered into between this Department and any agency of the Federal government (including, but not limited to: Bureau of Prisons; Citizenship and Immigration Services; Customs and Border Protection; Department of Homeland Security; Executive Office for Immigration Review; Immigration and Customs Enforcement; U.S. Marshals Service)
This request is being made as part of an ongoing investigation into the nature of the national criminal justice system. The requested documents will be made available to the general public. This request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Greetings:
I am in receipt of the following public records request.
I am not aware of any current contract that fits your request. I can tell you that the MCSO has not entered into a cross-certification of federal peace officer agreement in the last few years. (In past years the MCSO had entered into cross-cert agreements with the BLM under ARS 13-3875). Additionally, although I can’t put my hands on any formal writing at this time I can tell you that there is an informal understanding that the MCSO would provide mutual aid in the event another law enforcement officer requested assistance due to office safety and/or public safety situations.
I attached a contract in which the MCSO did not sign but the parties listed us as “additional parties”
As to the specific agencies listed below I am not aware of any current contract.
