To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

The US President signed Executive Order 13769 the "Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry in the United States" on January 27th. In response to a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals maintained to the US Government that the TRO was unenforceable at this time. Separately, the White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer gave an interview with Breitbart News about the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling and stated "We did what was in the best interest of this country. If you gave people a heads up, they could have potentially flooded into this country. But this Executive Order was fully compliant with the law, it was vetted by the Office of Legal Compliance at the Department of Justice ... "

Therefore I request any and all communication maintained by the OLC in reviewing EO 13769.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Freddy Martinez
