To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A Shapefile or CSV containing at minimum the Address Points (house # and street name) and their corresponding Latitude/Longitude. If additional data such as the Unit Number, City, Zipcode, Parcel Id exists they should be included as well.

If this cannot be accessed, the parcel file including situs address would suffice.

Other names for this include: E911 Address Database, Civic Address File, Parcel Dataset, Land Ownership Dataset, Tax Parcels, Address Points.

I also intent to publish the data via the OpenAddresses Publication platform and would request a waiver of fees for the request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Hello Nick - I received your faxed request for GIS data dated October 30, 2018.

You can find a downloadable file of the city's address point file (in Shapefile format), along with other GIS data posted on our public website. Please go to https://www.cityoffullerton.com/services/maps_gis/default.asp and scroll to the bottom of the page.

In our county, the Orange County Public Works OC Survey division maintains and distributes a digital legal parcel landbase. We consume this data ourselves and have provided a link to their portal where you can download the information for your use.

There is no charge or licensing agreement for the data we post on our website, which is provided on an "as is" basis. (The full text of our data disclaimer is posted on the Maps and GIS page just below the data download links.)
