I would like to draw the OIG's attention to the recent ruling by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in BARTKO v. UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (attached). While the ruling pertains directly to the Office of Professional Responsibility, the court's decision bears also on peer agencies like the Office of the Inspector General.
I trust that the OIG will process this request in full compliance with your obligations under the text of the FOIA as well as its interpretation by the courts, including this recent ruling.
