Could you please explain why this is not reasonably described?

Please provide me with the most recent email records, up to 200 pages. Starting from the date of receipt of this request and going backward for 200 pages.

From: Department of Homeland Security

Good Morning,

Thank you for following up about your FOIA request. Unfortunately we cannot conduct a search in the manner you are asking, going backwards from the date of receipt. In order to conduct an email search we need a specific time frame. It can be a specific day, for example July 5, 2018 or it can be a longer time frame up to several years. It would also be helpful to have specific search terms you want us to look for especially if you want a large time frame searched. Otherwise you could get a lot of junk mail or other records that may or may not be useful to you.

Please let me know if you have any further questions and I look forward to your updated FOIA request so that I can start a search for the records you are seeking. Thank you.
