Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all DHS/CBP records regarding the late Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa (November 24, 1935 – November 11, 2020), Bahraini royal and politician who had served as the Prime Minister of Bahrain from 1970 until his death in November of 2020.
Of interest are all records of Prince Khalifa's travel and entries in the United States.
Prince Khalifa's death was widely reported in 2020 (see attachment); these records should thus be assumed to have diminished privacy interests from the FOIA Exemption 6, 7(C) as well as the Privacy Act. Release of the information serves the public interest in the international relations of the United States of America with the Kingdom of Bahrain and with the Middle East and the states of the Persian Gulf.
