Calaveras County Accela Contract

Dear Ms. Desmond:

This office represents the County of Calaveras in all civil matters. We are in receipt of your August 10, 2017 PRA request made to the Building Department, in which you request "...all documents related to the Calaveras County contract with Accela to purchase Accela Permits Plus software, including the original contract, the date, implementation and maintenance costs, total cost, contract duration, and all services rendered."

The Building Department is in the process of gathering documents responsive to your request. Because the underlying contract you reference was entered into some time ago, responsive records are stored in multiple locations, including off-site storage. I anticipate being able to email you responsive records within 5-10 business days. If you are willing to accept production of the requested records electronically, the County will waive the costs of production to which it is entitled pursuant to Govt. Code §§ 6253(b) and 54985 and County Code Chapter 3.54 because the cost of producing responsive records will be relatively nominal once all the records are located.
