Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
- Copy of the current contract for the School Bus (Stop Arm Enforcement) Monitoring Camera System program, including monthly pricing to the vendor. Believe the contract was signed with BusPatrol in February 2020
- Report of # of incidents captured, # of citations mailed, payment rate, etc. since 2017.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Pursuant to Title 4 section 203(b)(2) of the General Provisions (GP) Article Maryland Public Information Act, you will receive a formal response to your request within 10 business days of your request. If your request will take more than 10 business days to complete that information will be provided in the aforementioned response letter.
Please be advised: due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, and in accordance with executive orders and guidance from the state and federal governments, MCPS has closed all schools and has activated a telework plan for the majority of its administrative offices. Consequently, production of certain types of records may be delayed. We are committed to transparency and access to public records and will communicate any limitations and anticipated delays.
