Dear Ms. Lipton:

I represent Montgomery Township. You made a RTK request on 6/29/20. The Township took a 30-day extension, as provided for by law to review the request. A response is due on 8/6/20.

Your request, however, cannot be completed at this time due to its lack of specificity, and overly broad nature. For example, your request is directed to the police department but your request references "this agency", which is the Township. With that said, we do not want to deny your request on the bases that it is over broadly and not specific enough to properly respond, rather we want to provide you time to supplement you request by making a specific request(s) for documents and confirm the time period within which you are seeking same so we can ensure we get you records responsive to your request, to the extent they exist.

In an effort to expedite, feel free to call me at the number below.

Given the above, please provide us further extension in writing so you can supplement your request; your request will not be processed until you provide such specificity and added detail. And if we do not hear from you by 8/6/20, we will take no further action on this request and mark it incomplete.

In providing the requested extension and supplement, you can email me with a cc to our open record officer.

Thanks,

Bob
