Pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law and the Missouri Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Amount of TANF dollars allocated through Missouri Health and Human Services to alternative abortion services/clinics and a list of corresponding recipients.
Any documents that outline the set plan for how this program is meeting at least one of the four federal requirements – “providing assistance to needy families, promoting job preparation and work, preventing and reducing out-of-wedlock pregnancies, and/or encouraging marriage and two-parent families”. I also request any reports produced by THHS that determine the completeness of the required elements of the federal law.
Finally, any notification sent to THHS from state-funded clinics regarding policies changes.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon Ms. Hollis,
I appreciate your help with this request. I am interested if I could be provided with an explanation as for why the DHHS has responded with no responsive documents. It is highly possible that my incorrect wording is the cause, when I wrote "alternative abortion services" instead of correctly, "alternative TO abortion services". According to the 2016 Missouri TANF plan, the Alternative to Abortion (A2A) Services Program is allocated funds under TANF. Is DHSS simply not the agency that would hold this information?
