Pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law and the Missouri Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all contracts entered into with Corizon Health for services within the jurisdiction of this agency
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The documents being requested are a vital component of an ongoing journalistic investigation of public-private corrections partnerships, a critical element in the current discussion of our criminal justice system. The materials will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com and will by analyzed and contextualized by a representative of the news media/press. This request is made in the process of news gathering and is not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Please be advised that the Department of Correction's Contract with Corizon Health can be viewed at http://oa.mo.gov/purchasing/bidding-contracts/awarded-bid-contract-document-search. A listing of other Department contracts can also be located at that site and at http://doc.mo.gov/DHS/Contracts.php.

Thank you very much for your help and apologies for the inadvertent follow up. However, I am wondering if you could provide a bit more direction on this request. I attempted to search for the Vendor "Corizon" using the OnBase system, and each iteration of Search Type returned the same message: "No documents found." Could you please advise?

Attached is the RFP (Request for Proposal) for the contract. If you search by the RFP number, it may help locate the complete contract. If not, let me know and I will have to copy the contract onto a CD (its size exceeds my ability to e-mail) and mail it to you. The Department will charge for the CD and postage ($2.86).
If we need to send the CD, you can send payment to my office at the address below. The check can be made to "Missouri Department of Corrections."
