Pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law and the Missouri Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of any communications regarding the suspension of Missouri Southern State University's internships with the Missouri legislative offices.

Please include any communications between whatever office(s) coordinate with Missouri Southern State University and the Missouri legislative offices, as well as internal communications within this office.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Pursuant to your request for records, after reviewing all relevant records, if any, I find that if any records do exist they are not subject to Chapter 610 RSMo. For the following reasons:

1. Individual members of the Missouri House of Representatives are not a "public governmental body" under Chapter 610 of the Missouri Statutes and therefore each member is not required to open all of his or her records.

2. The information requested is not a "public record" as defined in Chapter 610, RSMo.

3. Even if an individual Member were a "public governmental body" (which they are not) and even if the requested information is "public records" (which it is not), the information requested is exempt pursuant to 610.021, RSMo.
