To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the The Missouri Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
Email messages from any ICE employee to any Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department employee in 2019.
You can fulfill this request by searching the primary contacts who have interacted with ICE regarding immigration detainees at the Caldwell County Jail. Searching for “@ice.dhs.gov” between 1/1/19 and 12/31/19 should provide all responsive documents.
I am a member of the news media and request a waiver of all search and production fees. I am writing a news article on the relationship between Caldwell County and ICE.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Matthew Hoppock

Good morning. I am requesting the records that are in possession of Caldwell County under Missouri's sunshine law. ICE does not have access to them, because they are in the possession of Caldwell County. This is not a request for records in the possession of ICE.
I made a similar request in 2018, and Caldwell County fulfilled it (my point of contact was Dina Eskridge). A link to that request and the County's response is here: https://www.muckrock.com/foi/missouri-299/caldwell-county-mos-ice-e-mails-for-2018-68864/.
Please let me know when the responsive records will be sent. Thank you.

Upon further review we are checking to see what all we can send to you and
any cost that may be incurred.
Thanks!
