Mr. Gerber:

The University is in receipt of your request to the University of Montana Police Department (UMPD) seeking certain public records. The majority of requested information is contained in UMPD crime logs, which can be accessed here<https://www.umt.edu/clery/crime-log/default.php>. The crime log contains the following requested information:

* Type of call: see column titled Crime. Review of this information will allow you to determine which calls where of "domestic violence/ domestic disturbance" nature and the "type of call";
* Date and time call received: see column titled Reported Date & Time; and
* Outcome/ resolution of call: see column titled Disposition.
UMPD does not assign calls priority levels nor does UMPD does not track the race and ethnicity of the victim or perpetrator. Response date and time of first officer on scene may be contained in individuals police reports. The University is not required to cull through all such records, compare reports to determine which officer arrived first, and pull this information from such files. M.C.A. ยง2-6-1006(4).

In regard to the portion of your request seeking average response times, UMPD does not track such averages. A public agency is not required to alter or customize public information to provide it in a form specified to meet the needs of a requesting person. Id.
