Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

Any internal communication or records regarding one or more tweets on the @miramarpd Twitter account that were deleted on December 5th or 6th, 2019, or any communication regarding such tweets or their deletion between the Miramar Police Department and any other government body or public officials. You may exclude communication received from members of the public that the Miramar Police Department did not respond to. I have attached a screenshot of one such apparently deleted tweet for reference purposes. Please include memoranda, notes, emails, text messages, recordings or transcripts of telephone or other voice calls, transcripts from chat/IM programs including but not limited to Slack, Teams, etc.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Attached is a copy of the archived tweet. This tweet was in response to media requests wanting to know if any law enforcement officers were killed or injured. There are no other documents, emails, memos, text messages, etc., that we are aware of concerning this tweet. Please note though, the city has a contract with Archive Social for social media archiving/records retention services.
