From: Bureau of Criminal Apprehension

Dear Sam, Thank you for your data request dated January 4, 2021 to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). Please know that the Fusion Center does not create case files and does not release SARS, RFIS or Briefs regarding significant events under Minn. Stat. ยง 13.37 and the Fusion Center Security Information Declaration (attached). Thank you again.

From: Sam Richards

I did not request any sensitive law enforcement information. I am appealing the request and re-requesting the numbers corresponding to the original categories. The Fusion Center has released similar information in previous years as was reported in various media outlets. Again, I am not asking for sensitive information which would not be public per MGDPA however I am requesting the number of files. Thank you and please let me know if you need any clarification.
