To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, I hereby request the following records:

I would like to request copies of all emails and text communications between Mayor Jacob Frey and Chief Medaria Arradondo on May 28th and May 29th relating to the riots and looting in the wake of the death of George Floyd as they focused on Precinct 3.
I am particularly interested in emails and texts that discuss the decision to pull police out of that Precinct.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Afternoon Laura,
We processed a similar request -"I would like to request all copies of all city data, including but not limited to emails, text messages and instant messages, related to the request for National Guard assistance and/or the situation at Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct sent and received from Tuesday 5/26 to Friday 5/29." -that includes all text messages from MPD and the Mayor's office related to the protests, 3rd precinct, and national guard, and emails for the same. I could send you that data now?
