Yes we would like to still receive the data. Is there any idea of how long it will take to complete? The last communication from your department was nearly six months ago with no indication of how long the request would take.

Colin Gerber

Minneapolis PD claims we did not confirm our continued interest in receiving the data despite a follow-up sent two days prior clearly stating that we did. A screenshot of our response on 4/19/2021 (two days before the deadline) is attached. This is after six months of no communication, follow-up, or updates from your agency. We have followed all guidance issued by MPD thus far and strongly appeal the decision to close data request DR20_011163. Please send the data we have requested.

Colin Gerber

Good afternoon,

I apologize for the late reply on this request; it should have been assigned to me originally but it was not.

I have attached two files of domestic violence CFS data: 2019 and 2020. They include demographic data for each person involved in the cases if there was a police report written. There will be no demographic data if there was no police report written for the call. MPD does not maintain summary data on response times. But I will reach out to the dispatch center to see if they have anything.

Let me know what questions you have.
