Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:
All police records, call logs, closed investigation files and/or reports generated since January 1, 1995 pertaining to Delphi Academy of Boston located at 564 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA 02186.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest due to the isolated location of the facility and the numerous controversies related to the non-standard curriculum based on Scientology education principles being taught that has been reported in the press. In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I have spoken to our Deputy Chief concerning this request. The fee will not be waived and at this time, all I can tell you is that you will have to pay $1.00 a page and my hourly wage to do this research. I put the address in our computer and for 10 years we have over 100 incidents attached to this address. Most of them are very trivial but if you want the info it’s going to cost probably over $100. Also, I cannot do it electronically. Most incidents don’t get past our firewall for security purposes. Please let me know if you’re prepared to pay for this information. It will take time to compile so if you want it please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.

I have researched the address you requested (564 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton MA). The materials I have printed and the time it took to redact information comes to $108.26. That includes 55 pages at $1.00 each and 2 hrs. of my time at $26.63 per hr. I am unable to send you anything until I receive a check payable to the Town of Milton in that amount. I will also need an address to mail this information to.
