Pursuant to the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

An updated version of the "State-Wide Real Property Tax Forfeiture and Foreclosure Statistics" table published in prior years by the Michigan Department of Treasury. The data is provided at the county level, typically covering the span of 7 years, showing the number of forfeitures in a given year, the number of foreclosures in the following year, and the resulting percentage foreclosed. The table I am requesting would include the years 2020 and 2021 (2015 Forfeiture through 2021 Foreclosure).

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
