Any email sent or received by the office of MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon between January 1, 2018 and the date on which this request is processed which contains the name "Richard Spencer."
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This is written in reply to your email message below.
On March 1, 2018, this Office received MuckRock Foundation check #1623 in the amount of $90.00 as the fee deposit for the processing of your January 25, 2018, FOIA request. The deposit required was $45.00.
Per our February 16, 2018, FOIA Fee and Deposit Notice, on or before three weeks from the date that deposit was received, that being March 22, 2018, we anticipate responding to your request. That said, please also be advised that due to an unprecedented number of FOIA requests received in the past several weeks in this Office, responses are extending beyond typically expected time frames. While we will work diligently to respond to your request as quickly as possible, your consideration of the time challenges posed by current FOIA traffic is appreciated.
