Courtside Family Apartments elevator records

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:

For elevators located at Courtside Family Apartments, 1699 NW 4th Ave., Miami, FL 33136, I am requesting the following records:
- construction permits
- elevator inspection reports
- affidavits signed by elevator construction supervisors
- certificates of operation
- disciplinary citations and stop work orders
- accident reports

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by email attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Ms. Molina,

Thank you for your note. My understanding is that Miami-Dade County, Internal Services, Office of Elevator Safety handles certification for all elevators within Miami-Dade County. In that case, the Miami-Dade County government would hold the records I'm requesting. Is that correct?
