Pursuant to the state open records law, Ariz. Rev. Stat. Ann. Secs. 39-121 to 39-122 and 39-128, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the most recent collective bargaining agreement/collective agreement between this department and the local police union/fraternal order/benevolent association, or other similar organization.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Good morning,

At this point your request in on hold. I was informed on 6/29 that JPat@muckrock.com<mailto:JPat@muckrock.com> would provide additional information about your company as to why the request should be granted. The reason for the hold at this point is that Muckrock is a commercial enterprise and charges a fee through subscription services or per item as a third party for free information. A response saying that other agencies have provided the information will not be sufficient documentation to release this hold.

We will keep your request open for an additional 30 days to receive your supporting documents.
