To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to Michigan's Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA"), I hereby request the following records:
Any and all records pertaining to the distribution, sharing, or purchase of the county's Parcel/Civic Address Layer during the last 5 years
More specifically:
- all emails between county employees regarding the purchase, sale, or distribution of the county's parcel/address GIS dataset during the last 5 years.
- all emails between county employees and external entities regarding purchase, sale, or distribution of the county's parcel/address GIS dataset during the last 5 years.
- all contracts between the county and external entities regarding the fees and license terms around the county's parcel/address GIS dataset during the last 5 years.
Secondly all records, (emails, spreadsheets, etc) pertaining to the operating costs & budget for the ongoing updates and maintenance to the parcel/address GIS dataset during the last 5 years.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
