Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, ยง 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:
All agreements regarding sewage and water operations at Central Valley Modified Community Correctional Facility (http://www.geogroup.com/Maps/LocationDetails/116)
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Mr. Lipton - The City has no such agreements pertaining to the Central Valley Modified Community Correctional Facility. There is a Central Valley Medium Custody Correctional Facility within the City, which is operated under a conditional use permit. As a condition of the conditional use permit, there is an Indemnity Agreement between the City and the GEO Group, Inc. However, this Indemnity Agreement does not specifically pertain to sewer and water service. Should you want a copy of the CUP and the Indemnity Agreement as they relate to the Central Valley Medium Custody Correction Facility, please let me know.
