Hello Mr. Quemere,

The Public Records Division (Office) has received your Public Records Request (Request). Specifically, you asked for “All metadata for the email account william.galvin@sec.state.ma.us<mailto:william.galvin@sec.state.ma.us>, for the time period from January 1, 2012 to the present.” The Office has determined that it would take a network administrator in the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth, who is capable of compiling the requested documents, to search for and segregate such information about 2 hours of time, at an hourly rate of $43.33. The total amount of the Office’s good faith estimate of the costs associated with complying with your Request is thus $86.66. This amount is payable in advance of the Office’s furnishing of your Request. You may pay by check payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts sent to the Attention of the Office. If the amount you furnish turns out to exceed the necessary amount needed to comply to your Request, you will be refunded the difference. If the amount turns out to fall short of the necessary amount to comply to your Request, the Office will comply to the extent paid for and will submit a new estimate to you to complete the response. The Office will wait to hear from you before beginning the work necessary to compile the records responsive to your Request. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the number below.
