Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Dear Sir/Madam:
Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law § 66-10 et seq., I write to request copies of certain records that are, or may be, in the possession of the Secretary of State’s Office.

Specifically, I request that I be provided with a copy of:

A list of all payments, including purpose, account, date and amount, made by the Secretary of State’s Office, or on its behalf, to SKDKnickerbocker, for the period January 2015 to present.

All contracts with SKDKnickerbocker; all invoices submitted by SKDKnickerbocker; and any additional records describing work product expected to be provided by, or which has been provided by, it, all for the period January 2015 to present.

Any “public service announcement” advertisement, commercial, video or other content or work product of any kind in any medium created by SKDKnickerbocker pursuant to (a) or (b) above.

Any “public service announcement” advertisement, commercial or other similar video or audio content created by an outside vendor that is not SKDKnickerbocker, for the period January 2015 to present. Also, any contracts, payments or invoices associated with such work product.

To the extent not included in materials provided responsive to (a) through (d) above, a list of all payments, including vendor, purpose, account, date and amount, made by the Secretary of State’s Office, or on its behalf, to any party for the purpose of purchasing TV, cable or radio airtime, or advertising space online or in print, for any “public service announcement” advertisement, commercial, video or other similar content, for the period January 2015 to present.

To the extent possible, please provide responsive records in an electronic format and email such records to me at: Doctorfate77@gmail.com.

I understand that the Public Records Law requires a written response to this request within 10 days. If access to the records I am requesting will take longer than this amount of time, please contact me with information about when I might expect copies of the requested records.

I recognize that you may charge me the reasonable costs for copies and personnel time in complying with this request and pre-authorize any such fee up to $200.

If you deny any or all of this request, please cite each specific exemption you believe justifies the refusal to release the information.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
