From: Sarika Ram

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
-Massachusetts State Police Department's log of public records requests submitted to the department between January 1, 2012 and June 26, 2018

Please include all segregable information, including the name of the requester, date the request was submitted, available status of the request, and date the request was closed (if applicable).

Please provide materials on a rolling basis, as they become available.

If possible, I'd request that any fees associated with the release of these materials please be waived, as the requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

If you have any questions, please feel free to clarify via phone at 617-299-1832.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Sarika Ram

Dear Miss Ram:

Attached please find my revised response to your public records request. As you know, I sent out a cost estimate to you on July 12, 2018 (attached). Please disregard this cost estimate letter. Based on additional research, I discovered that we responded to a similar request placed by the Boston Globe in 2017. I apologize for the delay and any inconvenience caused by my initial mailing. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Thank you,
