Motorcycle Safety Fund Data

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the state Freedom of Information Act, G.L.M. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:

* Any reports, fact sheets or other documents that document the number of motorcyles registered each year in the past 10 fiscal years. Only the first responsive document found is requested.
* A copy of any budgets or summary reports that detail the amount of money remitted to the Motorcycle Safety Fund each year in the last 10 fiscal years. Only the first responsive document found is requested.
* Any accounting of the expenditures from this fund by year for the last 10 fiscal years, including receipts, reimbursements, budgets and regular reviews done of this fund.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Hello Mr. West,

We'd like to reduce the scope of the request to FY '08-'12 and whatever is available for '13. We would also like to add to the request any memos or reports documenting why money was removed from the fund.

If you could send us a new cost statement reflecting those changes it would be most appreciated.

It sounds like it would be best to just replace the references to Motorcycle Safety Fund in the request with Motorcycle safety program. If you could continue processing the request with the reduction in scope and the additional query that would be appreciated.
