Pursuant to the state Freedom of Information Act, G.L.M. c.4, €7, clause 26th, I hereby request the following records:

All documents from FY10-FY12 that details enrollment and cost estimates. All documents detailing policy proposals to address the increases.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for your help. Could you send over the enrollment information for 2012?

Also, I was wondering if you had, in addition to what looks like the actual enrollment numbers provided, the projected enrollment numbers from the beginning of those fiscal years.

Finally, I requested documents detailing policy proposals to address enrollment increases. Could those be provided?

Just to clarify, are you looking to have the attached document updated to reflect current July, 2011 numbers?

Regarding your previous request for policy proposals, I wrote to you on March 23:

"Regarding your request for documents detailing cost estimates and policy proposals, we need to ask for more specific direction. (Please see 950 CMR 32.05 (4): "Any person seeking access to a public record or any portion thereof shall provide a reasonable description of the requested record to the custodian so that he or she can identify and locate it promptly.")

I will follow up on your request for the enrollment projection documents.
