To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:
All materials--including but not limited to receipts, invoices, producer agreements--related to the creation of the Massachusetts Safe Address Program PSA featuring Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXjqkc22Dos)
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
Please see the attached response to your FOIA.
I just wanted to follow up on the voicemail message I left you yesterday. Please feel free to contact me either by email or telephone (617-727-7089) - I will be happy to provide follow up for any questions or concerns regarding my response to your FOIA.
Hello Mr. McCarthy,
Thank you for speaking with me this afternoon. I'll be happy to drop by tomorrow morning and retrieve the requested materials. I'm wondering: to whom should the check be made out?
Please make the check payable to the “Commonwealth of Massachusetts”. Do not fill out the amount (as the number of pages is an estimate) until you arrive tomorrow.
A copy of documents responsive to the request.
Hello Mr. McCarthy,
Thank you again for all of your help on Friday. I hope the weekend and week's start have been good to you since then.
I'm wondering now if there are any documents related to the airing of this PSA, and I'll submit a separate request for those materials.
