From: Todd Feathers
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:
1) A spreadsheet/copy of the expenditure database showing all payments since Jan. 1, 2015 under the following expenditure object codes:
-- B01 (Out-of-state travel)
-- B02 (In-state travel)
-- B03 (Overtime meals)
-- B07 (Housing and tangible asset allowance)
-- B08 (Clothing allowance)
-- B10 (Exigent job-related expenses)
I would like to clarify that I am not asking for supporting documentation for those expenditures, I am asking for an Excel (or comparable) spreadsheet listing the payments that fall under those code categories since Jan. 1, 2015. More details about the codes can be found in the Comptroller's Expenditure Classification Handbook: http://www.mass.gov/comptroller/docs/close-open/co-expenditure-classification-handbook.doc
I also ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist employed by the Lowell Sun and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest and not for any commercial purposes.
I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Todd Feathers
