This office is statutorily charged with determining the public records status of government records. It is not a warehouse for all government records; therefore, this office does not have custody of records responsive to your request. This office is the custodian of records solely related to the operation of the Secretary of the Commonwealth.

Each governmental entity in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Commonwealth) retains control of its own records. Accordingly, you must direct your request to the governmental entity that created or received the records you seek.

The website listing all of the governmental entities for the Commonwealth is www.mass.gov/<http://www.mass.gov/>.

For future reference the Citizen's Guide to State Services (Guide), published by the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth, is a good reference source when trying to determine which governmental entity is responsible for a certain subject matter. The website for the Guide is www.sec.state.ma.us/cis/ciscig/guide.html<http://www.sec.state.ma.us/cis/ciscig/guide.html>.

Hope this information is helpful.
