Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
1) Copies of all requests made to the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services for expanded access to CORI pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 6, Section 172(a)(6) since Jan. 1, 2011.
2) Copies of the DCJIS' response to the above request -- either granting or denying expanded access -- since Jan. 1, 2011.
I also ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public's interest and not for any commercial purposes.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
