From: Kiera Murray

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of all collective bargaining agreements with public employee unions maintained by this office, covering any agreements and any updates or supplements to the agreements. I request all such documents generated on or after January 1, 2016.

If this agency maintains other collective bargaining agreements with unions representing contractors, sub-contractors, or other non-direct employees, please provide a copy of those agreements as well for the same time period.

If there are ways to modify or change the scope of my request to reduce the burden on agency resources, please let me know. If over the past six months you’ve responded to another requester with information on contracts that likely covers substantially similar material and re-releasing that same material instead of a new search reduces the burden on agency resources, please let me know and I’m happy to consider accepting that instead of requiring a new search.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge and the request is made in the process of public policy research news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Kiera Murray
