Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
hello,
I request all files including police files, incident report, missing persons report, investigation, and any other agency reports and statements including witness statements and search records on the
disappearance and "no body" homicide of:
Catherine Denise Ford (also known as Cathy)
born: July 20th 1968
from Gormania, West Virginia/ Gorman, Maryland
Disappeared and believed Murdered on Fen 17th, 1988 (no body Homicide)
and the subsequent investigation and conviction on PAUL FERRELL
he was convicted of her abduction and murder and was sentenced to prison.
In 2001, the West Virginia governor commuted Ferrell's sentence, which made him eligible for parole, which was granted in May of 2004.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
