Your Maryland Public Information Act Request was forwarded to me. You have
requested a list of all of the National Rifle Association's lobbying
expenditures in Maryland from January 1, 2013 to March 14, 2017 that list
"Starboard Strategies Inc." as a vendor. You also requested that the list
include the amount of the expense, the type/purpose of the expense, and the
date of the expense.

The Commission's lobbying reports are publicly available on the
Commission's website, ethics.maryland.gov. Click on the link for Lobbyists
and then on "public records" to search the available lobbying reports.
Type NRA or Rifle into the "Employer" box and select the dates to limit
your search. Here is a link to the Lobbying Report Search page:

The lobbying activity reports filed for the NRA would not include a listing
of NRA vendors, such as Starboard Strategies, Inc. Rather, the information
disclosed on these lobbying activity reports would include a list of
compensation paid and expense totals related to lobbying efforts for the
applicable lobbying period.

Pursuant to Maryland's Public Information Act ("PIA"), I hereby request the
following records:

I am requesting a list of all of the National Rifle Association's lobbying
expenditures in Maryland from January 1, 2013 to March 14, 2017 that list
"Starboard Strategic Inc." as a vendor. The list should include the amount
of the expense, the type/purpose of the expense, and the the date of the
expense.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and
this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform
me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer
the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or
CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I
look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business
days, as the statute requires.
