I will be out of the office Friday, December 11,, 2020 -- I will respond when I return to work.
The University will be closed December 25, 2020 to January 1, 2021.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and by order of Governor Hogan, I am working remotely until further notice . As a result of the many issues arising during this crisis, and the associated high volume of meetings and emails, my ability to respond to your email may be delayed. I appreciate your patience during this difficult time. I will respond to your email as quickly as possible.

If you have filed a public records request through the portal  ( www.umd.edu/pia) and are receiving this message, your request has been submitted and will be logged in when the University (http://www.umd.edu/pia)
is open for business; that date is the date of receipt. There is no need to Doing so will cause confusion and delay.

First, I hope this message reaches you. For years, the University has had
trouble connecting with requesters through the MuckRock platform. The
messages simply aren't received. Please send us a reliable, direct email
address so we may actually reach you.

Second, please explain what Briefcam is. That will help us determine where
to possibly locate such records. The University shall await your
reply before it resumes processing your inquiry.

Finally, the Maryland statute provides us with 30 days to respond to such
requests, not ten. Also, the University will be closed December 25, 2020 to
January 3, 2021.
