Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am seeking any and all documents and communications regarding the Marin County Board of Supervisors appointed working group on Use of Force first mentioned in the June 24, 2020 Board of Supervisors public meeting and referred to by Sheriff's news release of 12/11/2020 as "Industry experts and appointed community members". This includes communications with Supervisors, potential and final community members, Sheriff Doyle and industry experts. My request further includes any draft and final documents circulated regarding Use of Force policies, member and expert meeting schedules and attendance. Given the restrictions of COVID-19 procedures this should include any video conferencing or other electronic communication records.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
