Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
- A copy of any data release consent forms parents or students are asked to sign
- Any current policy documents or guidelines governing student data usage
- Any amendments made to those forms from 2015-2019
- Documents outlining any third-party programs or applications collecting student data
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

I am in receipt of your request dated February 19, 2020. The Virginia
Freedom of Information Act gives any Virginia citizen and any non-resident
representative of a newspaper, radio station, or television station that is
circulated in or broadcasts in Virginia the rights to have access to public
documents. Based on the information provided, I don't see that this
requirement has been met.

Regarding Item 3, we do not track changes to the forms over time... we just
have the most current version.

Mr. Nash: I received a letter in the mail today dated February 20, 2020
requesting the same information as requested in the document you sent on
February 19, 2020. I believe you have all the information to fulfill your
request, but I wanted to make sure that this was a duplicate request.
Originally, we did not respond because it did not reflect a person in the
Commonwealth of Virginia that was making the request.
