Itemized inventory of all equipment, weapons, vehicles or any other materials received by the Madison Police Department under the Pentagon's "1033 Program".

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

* Contacts, calls for service or background checks- 2 weeks.

If you are requesting a crash report, these are maintained at the Department of Transportation. They can be contacted directly at https://app.wi.gov/crashreports or by calling (608) 266-8753 (and selecting option 3). For processing this request, you will need the DOT document number located in the upper right corner of the Driver Exchange of Information Form. This document number will begin with 9B or 01L. Crash reports are available from DOT approximately 2 weeks after the date of the crash.

These records are publically available in at least one searchable location on the internet, therefore a public records request is neither necessary nor appropriate. This request is completed and closed. I have provided you the link to the document as a courtesy.

These records are publically available on the City of Madison Legistar meeting for the meeting of the Public Safety Review Committee from December 2021 agenda<https://madison.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=825529&GUID=0AC3374D-5D59-4996-9800-7E2D66366C06>. No additional inventory has been impacted since that report.
