Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am seeking the following records pertaining to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office.
- A record of public records requests that lists the date of request, the requester's name, the requester's organizational affiliation, a description of the request and the office's response for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018.
- Records of policies/procedures relating to the processing of public records requests, for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018. We are interested in obtaining the policy and policies that were in force during those years.
- Records of total direct revenue and expenses (i.e., not including overhead) relating to the processing of public records requests in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
- Current schedule of fees relating to the processing of public records requests.
For clarification of this request, please contact me.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
