To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All police reports, notes, arrests, and call logs regarding or related to complaints about prostitution in 2018.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
John Ricker
From: Lubbock Police Department
We received this request attached. Are you wanting the actual full reports? If so This will have to be forwarded to the Attorney General's office for their response as to what we can release . If you are just wanting a excel format that lists all the calls with the General Information I can send that to you if it would work for what you're looking for. Please advise
Sincerely ,

Hi Stacy,
If you have or can easily produce an excel format easily I would greatly appreaciate it. If possible I would actually enjoy receiving both the excel format for general information and the full report. I have no issue waiting for an attorney general opinion. However, I would ask that you release any information you can (I.e. the excel formal for general information) without waiting for the AG opinion.
Please let me know if this answers your question and if you have any other questions,
John Ricker
From: Lubbock Police Department
Here is the excel Report .I will send the full reports to AG for response .Once they get them It takes 45 days for them to respond back to us .

Hi Stacy,
I’d like to request a fee waiver due to the public interest of the nature of this request, the fact that this request is being made for a non-commercial purpose, and that this request is being made available to the general public through hosting it on a website on the internet.
I would also like to request you send these records electronically rather than CD at this point as that will be faster, easier, and cheaper. If the files are too large for email attachments let me know and I can provide a link for upload.
With that information if you could kindly send me a written statement/invoice it would be appreaciated! No invoice is needed for no fees which is of course my preference.
I hope you have a great weekend,
John
