Pursuant to the Louisiana Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
financial documents such as budgets, monthly and yearly statements, financial forecasts, expense reports, payment vouchers and invoices related to individual schools in the parish.
any documents detailing the break down of any relief grants allotted to rebuild schools post Hurricane Ida in the parish.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Is your request specific to grant funded expenses due to Hurricane Ida?
Our cost is 25 cents per page. Some information is available in electronic format, but much is not. Anything that exists on paper could be scanned into electronic format to be uploaded, but that would incur the 25 cents per page charge. Without more information as to the exact documentation you are requesting, I cannot estimate the total cost.

Are you requesting a copy of the invoice, check, purchase order, bid, etc?
Or are you requesting a copy of only the invoice?
Do you want all expenditures? What is your definition of "grant funded" expenditures?
Once I know exactly what type of documentation you are asking for I can estimate the cost. We require payment for the estimated cost by certified check before any documents will be released. If your estimated payment is more or less than the final actual cost, we will either refund you or bill you for the overage.
