For email addresses affiliated with the Rule of Law Defense Fund, please use email addresses that contain the domain: “@ruleoflawdefensefund.org.”

For email addresses affiliated with the Republican Attorneys General Association, please use email addresses that contain the domain: “@RepublicanAGs.com.”

For email addresses affiliated with the Judicial Crisis Network, please use email addresses that contain the domain “@judicialnetwork.com,” as well as “dcasey@dcstrat.com.”

For email addresses affiliated with the Wellspring Committee, please use “acorkery@steinmitchell.com.”

If your agency is aware of any additional email addresses associated with the Rule of Law Defense Fund, the Republican Attorneys General Association, Judicial Crisis Network or the Wellspring Committee, please include them in this search as well.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

“…all available communications exchanged, from Jan. 1, 2017 to July 8, 2017, between officials at the Louisiana Department of Justice and … the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the White House.”

Please understand “officials” to include individuals holding the following titles: Attorney General; Chief Deputy Attorney General; Director, Administrative Services; Director, Civil Division; Director, Administrative Services; Director, Public Protection; and Communications Director.

We are seeking copies of all electronic communications exchanged with these agencies -- including (but not limited to) emails, text messages, calendar items, faxes or messages exchanged over apps like Signal.

For emails affiliated with the EPA, please use email addresses that contain the domain: “@epa.gov.” For emails affiliated with the White House, please search for any emails that contain the domain “@who.eop.gov.”

After a diligent search, our office has identified 40 pages of responsive non-privileged records. Copies of the records have been attached to this email. In addition, 16 pages of records were withheld under attorney-client and deliberative process privileges.
