Louisiana state prisons' air conditioning maintenance/inspection reports

Miss Lipton,

I am in receipt of the attached request--see page 2 of the pdf
file--generally seeking all documents relative to air conditioning and
cooling measures at all Louisiana state prisons. Please be advised that
this is a substantial request, and fees cannot be waived. A significant
amount of the material sought is maintained only via hard copy. The
Department would require an initial deposit of $1,000 to begin processing
this request. Thank you.

would be happy to receive, for each of the facilities within your
jurisdiction, simply the invoice for the most recent installation, upgrade,
or maintenance check. Please let me know if this seems like a reasonable
constraint.

This request is being made as part of a journalistic investigation. The
requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this
request is not being made for commercial purposes.
