To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Louisiana Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

On March 1, 2020, the Statistical Analysis Center in the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice published the 2019 Body-Worn Camera Study. We are requesting all survey forms received as part of this survey.

If you are able to sort the records just by law enforcement agencies that reported using body-worn cameras, we would be willing to narrow our request to just those records.

If you have this information in a data file, such as a spreadsheet, that would suffice.

The survey can be found here: http://lcle.la.gov/programs/uploads/2019%20Body%20Camera%20Survey%20%20House%20Concurrent%20Resolution%20No.%2052.pdf

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Dave Maass

All public record requests should be addressed to the PIO at the La Commission on Law Enforcement. We cannot locate any previous record request. The documents that were requested are being sent via mail. Not all agencies responded to the initial survey. The data being in its raw form has not been verified.
