Pursuant to the Louisiana Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. All email communications between the Louisiana department of economic development staff including email attachments concerned with iMerit between January 1, 2020 and November 15, 2021
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Ms. Kaye:
The official records custodian for Louisiana Economic Development received your public records request (PRR) on Nov. 15, 2021.
La R.S. 44:33 provides that the custodian of records shall immediately present to a requestor any public record that is immediately available and not in use. However, if the record is not immediately available, the custodian shall promptly certify the unavailability of the record to the requestor in writing within three (3) days, exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays, or legal holidays, for the exercise of the requestor's right to examine the record.
A review of our email accounts has found no documents responsive to your request.
