Loudoun County Sheriff Department Noise Complaints

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All available records of noise- or nuisance-related complaints and violations submitted between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2016. Please ensure the records include the location of the complaint/violation (address or long./lat. coordinates), whether it was a complaint or violation, the status of the request, the amount of fines resulting from the violation and any and all other available information listed in the dataset or related datasets.

If possible, please provide the data in a digital file (i.e. Excel spreadsheet .xls or .csv file)

Additionally, please provide a list of all types of complaints or violations listed in your complaint database and how they are coded (i.e. noise, pothole, etc.)

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
