Dear Tom Nash,

RE: PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST of March 14, 2023, Reference # R001235-031423

The Loudoun County Public Schools has reviewed your request and has determined that the records requested are exempt from disclosure under Public Records Act for the following reasons:

[FOIA_EXEMPTIONS]

If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact my office at 571.252.1237.

Sorry, I'm confused.

Surely you do not think that "[FOIA_EXEMPTIONS]" is an actual exemption, do you? Please try again, but with legal citations as the basis for your response this time.

I'm hopeful that we can resolve this matter without seeking a judicial remedy through the courts, which I'm prepared to pursue. As you know or should know, records related to issues of grave matters of student safety are not exempt from disclosure under the FOIA. Indeed, other school districts in the state have had no issue properly providing records regarding teacher misconduct/abuse, as required by state statute.
